Angry Birds: Gaming on the road

I’m not much of a casual gamer. Not in the sense that I can spend endless hours playing something like Bejeweled or Angry Birds. It’s not that i have anything against these games; it’s just that I prefer to spend my endless hours on MMO and other videos games.

However… I’m on the road, on vacation, and whenever you travel you have massive amounts of time to kill. Whether it’s by car, bus, train or plane, there’s going to be huge chunks of time begging for a head shot. Gaming, of course, is perfect for killing that time.

Unfortunately, the types of games suitable for gaming on the road are mostly the casual/mobile games. Anything you can play on your phone or a handheld is perfect for gaming while traveling. Unless, you want to be a complete douche and break out your 20 inch Alien laptop and Razer mouse on a plane, but, hey, that’s up to you. Just don’t sit next to me.

So what’s my game of choice on this trip? Angry Birds. Angry Birds: Star Wars to be precise. What can I say? I’m a sucker for pretty much all things Star Wars, though Angry Birds: Star Wars has about zero to do with Star Wars and just about everything to do with Angry Birds.

But hey, it’s still fun and I can play it on my phone and there’s a ton of game play in it. Should last me the whole trip.
