Guild Wars 2: A little help from ArenaNet

One of the few criticisms leveled here and elsewhere at Guild Wars 2 is that it doesn’t have much of a tutorial. ArenaNet has responded to this, it seems. Yesterday, they published an online guide for new players. It’s a nice, little getting-started guide. You can take a look at it, here.

Sadly, in what can only be seen as a cash grab, they also are offering a digital strategy guide. The game really needs a tutorial and the digital book should’ve been provided for free. They’re going to get lots of cash from the cash store, as it is.
