Mists of Pandaria: Blizzard announces impressive sales numbers

As predicted, Mist of Pandaria (MoP), the latest expansion to Blizzard’s never-dying MMO, World of Warcraft, is posting some impressive sales numbers. In the first week, MoP sold 2.7 million copies and subscription numbers are up above 10 million, again. That’s almost an additional million subscribers from where they were when they announced their last quarterly result. That’s especially impressive, because a lot of people aren’t going to subscribe until their first thirty days is play time is over.
