SWTOR: Star Wars goes free-to-play on November 15

by manylaughs on November 10, 2012

Electronic Arts (Really, why is anyone calling them BioWare?) announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic is officially going free-to-play (F2P) on November 15. So what if the endgame sucks? The rest of the game is pretty, freakin’ good.

As a F2P game, SWTOR is a bargain. Is there a better F2P game? It all depends on how they implement the freeness of the game, of course, but it’s hard to think of any other F2P game that would be as good as SWTOR. Of course the EA chuckleheads could easily screw it up. Stay tuned for that.
