Defiance: Available for pre-order, now

Trion Worlds is now offering Defiance for pre-order. With the standard edition starting at $59.99 and the deluxe going for $99.99, it’s a tad on the expensive side, especially considering there’s about zero hype surrounding this game.  But if you are excited about this game or just have a few bucks to spend, the pre-order will guarantee you access to the betas. And, on the bright side, there’s no subscription, so maybe the price won’t seem so bad if (That’s a huge if.) the game turns out to be decent.

Still no specifics on when the game will be released, but it’s reasonable to expect it around the time the TV series Defiance premiers on SyFy on April 15. It’s a novel idea, but the series and the game are suppose to be linked, somehow. A novel idea, true, but don’t expect this to actually work in any but the lamest way and you won’t be disappointed. Still, might be a fun game for a few months.
