Star Wars: House of Mouse kills 1313

So you’re all excited about J.J. Abrahms being signed as the director of the next Star Wars movie, right?

Maybe not so exciting is the new owner of all things Star Wars, the House of Mouse, aka Disney, has brought the guillotine down on LucasArts. Reuters reported, last week, “Disney Co plans to shut the 30-year-old LucasArts studio it inherited with the acquisition of George Lucas’ film company last year, and focus on licensing its Star Wars brand externally…” That means an end to Star Wars games, including the much anticipated Star Wars 1313.
