GW2: Going for 1000 gold – Join a good guild

For Dwayna’s sake, join a good guild.

A good guild tells you where the world boss train is and when the zerg is running in WvW. They help you fill out dungeon parties and help you take down a champ. They announce in guild chat where the rich iron veins are and help you level your character. They do the guild challenges which are pretty generous: It’s easy to get ascended accessories and some sweet back pieces by doing guild challenges.

All these things count toward both you bottom line, which is important as  we go for 1000 gold, but also your enjoyment of the game. If your guild doesn’t do these things, you should think about getting in with one that does.
