In retrospect, the last two posts I made probably are more about patterns than light. Though, light is very much an element, it’s really the patterns of the raindrops in the web and the swallows in the sky that I was trying to emphasize. Oh, well. So they’re not great examples of light.
Today, though, I have a very nice example. What’s a better example than the sun lighting up the sky?
This is a photo of the sky I took in Richmond, VA. I’ve added a little auto-contrast but this is essentially the way the sky looked that day–very golden. It was probably the golden hour, literally.
But guess what? Look at those magnificent cloud patterns. Maybe I should have made this week about patterns, after all.
Oh, well. Tomorrow, I do have a light photo that’s nothing but light.
