I’ll get back to focusing on theme, next week. During the holidays, I thought I’d post a few random images.

Believe it or not, I really like shooting people, but I’m a bit shy about shooting people in casual situations. I’m certainly not well suited to focus on street photography.

In this case, I asked my subject if I could take her photo while she talked with someone else. This is one of the photos I took that day.

I love her hands. They’re so full of life and lines. Very dramatic, I think.

I won’t talk about this much. I’ll just say I was fortunate enough to capture a moment in conversation that makes the viewer wonder what the story is and, perhaps, construct their own story.

I love that.
