Monochrome: Three fans through a wire fence

I use monochrome mostly to emphasize shapes and patterns. In my opinion, color can distract from what I want to the focus on in an image. There are other reasons to use monochrome, but this week’s photo will primarily emphasize shapes and patterns.

Today’s image, Three fans through a wire fence, is pretty cool, I think. I love the balance of the three fans (I guess we could get into the rule of odds and stuff like that, but when I take a photo rules are not my primary concern. There’s probably a long post in there.) and the blurred obstruction of the fence in the foreground.
