Not a closeup: Drapery light

No, this one is not a closeup: It’s light on the ceiling of my living room. I thought it was an interesting effect, a bit mystical, and this photo has been sitting in my should-I-post-it pile. I like it, though, so here it is.

Speaking technically, I think I’m getting better with composition and one of my strong points is seeing the verticals and horizontals in any scene. Perhaps, that can be a little dull, too. We’ll see.

One of my problems, though, is low light photography. This image is mostly fine, but if you want to look for low light issues, they’re there. So I’m watching some videos and working on my low-light work. Next time I take a shot like this, I hope it will be better, technically.
