GW2: Going for 1000 gold – A falling market

This is just to give you an idea of what can happen when the ArenaNet gods decide to make an event change. After removing the tri-color key chest from Kessex Hills and the need to buy pristine toxic spores to buy key parts to open that chest, the price of pristine toxic spores plummeted and so did the market for anything that was made from these spores: Price of mats go down, so does the price of the end products.

Here’s what I sold a Sigil of Torment for before The Origins of Madness:

When a new event like this starts, try to plan for it. I only had one Superior Sigil of Torment on the market when the event switched over and none in my inventory.

I’m almost at 400 gold, now.
