Colors: Bikes at Barcroft Park

At the moment, I seem to like high-contrast photos. High-contrast photos deliver more punch, more impact to the eye, but they have less gradation of tones: The transition from similar tones is more dramatic.

At least, that’s my understanding. I am learning as I go along. I’m not likely to get into tutorials, but maybe as I learn more and feel more confident about technical aspect of photography, I’ll do that.

On this photo, I did some very light post-processing. The bike’s were already colorful. I just used the auto-contrast; that made the colors pop a little more.
