Nature: Mushroom near the rocks

Part of what makes a photo interesting is that it’s different in some way. If it looks like something someone hasn’t seen before or rarely sees, that photo is likely to be more intriguing to the viewer.

Getting a photo that looks different sometimes means you have to inconvenience yourself as a photographer. In this case, I was practically lying on the ground to get this photo.

I really like this photo. I love the foreground grass and the bokeh above the mushroom cap.
