Post-processing: Buckeye butterfly in the green
Today’s photo, Buckeye butterfly in the green, has more post-processing. I cropped it, flipped it, and heightened the contrast.
Except for the contrast adjustments, I’ve left the tones of the photo alone. It might be a little extra green, but I kind of like that. At least I do, right now. We all like bright colors to begin with, don’t we? Then, over time, we move on to more subtlety.
In this photo, I think the cropping and the re-orientation makes a huge difference, transforming what would have been just another butterfly photo into a more interesting image.
