Post-processing: Hand

Today’s photo is fun and dark. Halloween is coming, so it’s a great time for some dark images.

Hand is taken from one of my first photos, The claw. It’s really the same photo, but I realized the potential of it, the other night while playing with Lightroom. I like The claw, but I prefer Hand. Hand looks creepy and darker.

I added the color back in and darkened the tones to make it look more ominous. But I think reorienting the image has the greatest impact, resulting in a scarier photo. It’s fun to take something relatively mundane and recreate it as something very different.
