Portrait: Sensual grinders

Using portrait orientation helps narrow a viewer’s focus on things that stand vertically, such as the salt and pepper grinders in this photo.

I love the soft, gentle curves of these grinders, but I really didn’t appreciate what I had until I started looking at them more closely in Lightroom. I ended up chopping off about half the photo to focus more on the curves of the griners, so the resolution isn’t as nice as I’d like.

Oh, well. I’m still learning. I think I will go back and reshoot these. I do like those curves.
