Random: Violet and gold

There’s no Photoshopping in this photo; there is a bit of Lightroom, though.

To take this photo I obstructed a very bright light and directed the light across the bottom of a sink in a dark room. The sink is bowl-shaped, causing the curving effect. You can see the water drops in the bottom of the sink adding a little extra to the photo. For the most part, the original photo colors are a little bland, so I enhanced them in Lightroom creating a more pronounced effect.

The end result is fun. I love playing with stuff like this. : )
