Live stuff: Shadows falling on blanket

My house happens to have one room that gets awesome light and shadows. This is a photo of the light coming in and the shadows falling on a blanket.

At the most basic level, photography is all about light and absence of light. Yes, it’s also about framing and angles and capturing the moment and a thousand other things. It’s just the essence of photography is how you use the light and the absence of light.

This photo is really about that: Light and the absence of it. At least, that’s my opinion. Oh, wait. It’s also about framing and how the shadows cut up the scene and the angle and… Well, you get the idea. Mostly it’s fun shadows.
