The exhibition: Figures at an exhibition

This week is a series. An actual series. I took all of this week’s photos at an exhibition at Touchstone Gallery in Washington, DC.

I really like this image. It’s originally in color, but I turned it in something more noir, giving it a mysterious look. This is actually a reflection in the gallery’s windows of three people in conversation. The gallery’s windows cause a double reflection, probably because of double windows, and the street traffic and lights outside further complicate the scene.

I especially like how one figure is silhouetted but the other two are broken up. The guy’s plaid shirt further lends to this effect.

It all lends to a ghostly effect, almost as if these three people are haunting the gallery. Their conversation must have been serious. : )
